Lucille Young was born in 1971. Her paintings are very intricate, like those of her painting sisters, but she uses a different colour range. The colours are influenced by country and the subtle nuances of the pastel range. Various painters in Santa Teresa have developed this style in the last two decades. The artist uses pattern, colour, shape and design to depict her sense of country, culture and self. Cat. 139-07
