Anumara Tjukurpa by Ungakini Tjangala

Ungakini has painted a place called Anumara in this stunning artwork. It is the place where she was born and it’s also the name for a kind of caterpillar and Anumar is dreaming place for this caterpillar. It lives in the grass and can be eaten if the grass it eats is removed. The place shares the same colours of the caterpillar: brown yellow and pale green.
