Water Dreaming by Alison Anderson Nampitjinpa

Alison Anderson was born in 1958 in Haasts Bluff. Her family are important custodians of many water dreamings in the area – Mikantji (the title of this painting) being an important site. Alison is very active in local politics. Alison has been represented in several major Aboriginal art exhibitions at the Araluen Centre in Alice Springs as well as interstate and in the Holmes a Court Collection. Cat. AAN4369.
