Numida Nampitjinpa in this painting depicts designs associated with the site of Imparra, east of Winparku in WA. A group of senior women camped here and gathered small seeds known as wangunu (woollybutt). The seeds are ground into flour to make a kind of bread. The loaves can be stored for considerable time.
