Narrabri Nakamarra was born in approx. 1950. She is the daughter of Makinti Napanangka. This painting is about the Blue Tongue Lizard Dreaming. The lizard was very thirsty and hungry. Searching for food and digging for water he created the geographical features of a site called Payarrnga. The design depicts the sandhills and rocky outcrops. Cat. 707160
